MH Bread & Butter

As Oprah recently said, "I LOVE BREAD!"" Marin County scored big time when Nathan Yanko, former baker for renowned SF bakery Tartine, opened his own place in downtown San Anselmo. All things at MH revolve around the daily baked bread. It's so hard for me to order anything other than the brioche french toast, but when I do venture from my mainstay, I'm never disappointed. So this week's tip is to park your car at Phoenix Lake, burn off a few calories on the Tucker Trail, then refuel at MH Bread and Butter.
